Rapitalà Conte Hugues Chardonnay Sicilia DOC

The 2019 harvest was characterized by a slight reduction in production averages. Spring weather conditions delayed the start of the harvest by about ten days. In the veraison and ripening phases, the development of a lush leaf wall and favorable weather conditions allowed us to obtain excellent quality grapes, healthy and with a first-rate acidic and aromatic profile. In the vineyards located at higher altitudes, with a climate characterized by a wider temperature range, a greater and gradual accumulation of tannic and sugar metabolites was recorded, thus predisposing the wines to aging.
