The passion for winemaking and for Malvasia delle Lipari, as the latest challenge in an intense life full of interests.

On the nose it expresses a character of good breed, broad and rich in sensations that range from small ripe red fruit, blackberries and blueberries, to a light spicy vanilla and cardamom that harmonizes with mineral notes of graphite and gunpowder. The taste is rich and enveloping, velvety to softness, still leaving room for round and delicate tannins.

This is the spirit with which Carlo Hauner embarked on his adventure in the Aeolian Islands in 1963; from painter to internationally renowned designer, he began producing wine after restoring ancient terraces on the island of Salina. His small revolutions in the cellar fascinate experts, starting with Veronelli, and bring Hauner's Malvasia to the tables of prestigious restaurants in Italy, France, the United States, Great Britain, and Japan.
